Domain Registrations
A major part of building a website is the domain name. Choosing the perfect domain name is essential to your online success. We will help you decide on the best domain name and will register it for you as part of our design services.
Some web designers will register a domain name for a client and in doing so they put themselves down as the registered part. When this occurs the domain name doesn't belong to the client, but to the web designer. All domain names we register for our clients are owned by our clients. We do not list ourselves as the registered owner. However, we will list ourselves as the technical contact for the domain name.
We usually register a domain name for 1 year depending on our clients needs. After the initial registration period the website owner will receive an email from the registrar to renew the domain name. Usually these email come 90, 60, 30, and 15 days prior to the expiration of the domain name. The website owner is required to renew the domain name from this point forward.
